Peking Express is my go to New York style "Chinese" restaurant in the Lansing Metro. The food is typically priced. They serve the food quickly. But the real win here is in the serving size: an $8 meal gets a you a huge helping of your main dish, rice, crab-rangoon/egg-roll. The dumplings seem to be made in house are vegetarian and are pretty tasty.
Can't ask for much more in a "Chinese" take out joint. -

I have been going there for years. The rice is not burned and never has been.
The prices of the food is great! Service for take out is fast!
There is always a smile at the counter when ordering take out, picking up, or checking out.
One wish is that they spoke better english there.
I love this place! -

First-time here. Very authentic Chinese cuisine, reasonably priced, NO mandatory 18% tipping (which is a very irritating phenomenon in some Asian restaurants near Purdue). The owner (I guess) lady was kind and lovely. I saw some negative reviews regarding the service, but my experience was great. Maybe it's hard to keep up with the service quality when they are really busy... Overall, I would recommend it to those who love authentic Chinese food.

Arrived on 10pm Oct 10th Sun but staff was so friendly to serve us until we left. Lamb Pot was really good after a long trip. Can't forget the Spicy Ti Jin which was great! About $20 a person. Easy to find a parking lot nearby.

After forgetting my Sweet and Sour sauce, delivery guy calls me repeatedly. Eventually tells me I'm an asshole. Comes to my place of work and creates a commotion. Called Peking express and asked to speak with a manager. Each time the girl who answer the phone simply said "No" and hung up. Called three times. Same answer. The fourth time, the girl just kept repeating "No speak English".
